Fever is a global entertainment company specializing in curating and producing unique, data driven experiences. We are excited to launch our immersive production, The Jury Experience, in multiple cities across the country.
The Jury Experience is an interactive courtroom stimulation where the audience steps into the role of the jury, deciding the fate of the accused in a gripping legal drama. With live actors, cinematic visuals, and a dynamic voting system, this production offers a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.
We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Stage Manager to lead the execution of our upcoming production. This role is central to ensuring a seamless and professional show experience from pre-production through live performances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stage management or technical theatre and be comfortable operating and troubleshooting multimedia systems, especially within QLab 5.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Show Preparation:
You will be responsible for reviewing all show materials, including images, videos, and sound assets. Familiarity with scripts and cue sheets is essential, as you’ll be preparing and updating cue sheets with accurate production cues and technical instructions. This position requires availability for up to 16 in-person rehearsal hours, which may include weekdays and weekends.
Live Show Execution:
During setup and performance, you will lead the tech team in ensuring all lighting, sound, projection, and scenic elements are in place. You will guide tech rehearsals and run-throughs with the cast and crew, and operate the show using QLab 5, managing all media playback with precision. Your role will also involve troubleshooting any last-minute issues to ensure smooth and professional performances.
Team Coordination & Communication:
As the main liaison between the crew, actors, and production staff, you’ll ensure efficient communication and coordination across departments. You’ll oversee all aspects of the production, facilitating collaboration and clarity among the team.
Show Logistics & Documentation:
You will manage the preparation and distribution of all printed materials needed for each show. Ensuring the run of the show is correctly implemented and adhered to is a key part of maintaining show quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in stage management or technical theatre, with the ability to confidently lead technicians in the setup and execution of lighting, sound effects, projections, and other production elements. Proficiency with QLab is essential, including the ability to import, edit, and run cues smoothly during rehearsals and live performances. A personal MacBook laptop running macOS 11 or higher is required for QLab use during rehearsals. Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a calm presence under pressure are also key to success in this role.
This is a hands-on, leadership role ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced theatre environment.
Compensation:
16 rehearsal hours prior to based on local minimum wage
Event Days: $430/day (Flat Rate; 10am call onsite for launch)
