Pay
$833 per week
Omnium Circus - a tented circus production - is seeking an experienced Stage Manager for a rehearsals in Tyson's Corner, November 1 – November 21. Circus and tent experience preferred. Will involve pre-production meetings beginning as soon as possible.
This is a non-union position.
Essential Functions:
• Manages daily schedule during rehearsals.
• Coordinates with different departments to ensure show needs are met.
• Attends rehearsals, previews and opening (Opening is Sunday 11/21 at 4:00 PM, immediately following the last preview that morning).
• Creates show paperwork.
• Assists director as needed.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
• Previous circus experience.
• Previous tent experience.
• Covid Compliance knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills.
Salary Range: $2500 stipend
Must be local to DC/Virginia area or able to provide own housing.

Covid Plan:
a. Compliance with Laws. Both Parties agree, at their own expense, to operate in full compliance with all governmental laws, regulations and requirements applicable to the duties conducted hereunder, which includes meeting and surpassing local, state and federal Department of Health Guidelines for the safety of guests and other performers and staff, including requirements relating to the pandemic (“Covid-19”).
i. Covid Compliance Officer. Circus will be following all federal, state and local guidelines relating to protection of crew, audience and performers from Covid-19. Rules will be implemented and tracked through the Circus Covid Compliance Officer, who will be identified prior to the Event.
ii. Vaccination Requirement. In order to protect all attendees, crew and other performers, Staff agrees to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or proof of anitbodies showing protection against Covid-19. In the event that Staff cannot provide proof of vaccination, Staff will have the additional obligations to meet:
1. wear masking at all times when at event space except as designated by the Covid Compliance Officer.
2. Staff will also be required to provide weekly molecular (PCR) tests and daily Antigen testing at their own expense.
