We are recruiting for a Stage Manager to join our The Ocean at the End of the Lane UK & Ireland Tour 2022–23.
The Stage Manager will be responsible for directly managing the Stage Management team, and the running of all performances of the production and managing day-to-day running of the on-stage elements of the production on tour.
The Stage Manager will manage and schedule the Stage Management department and with the Technical Heads of Departments, alongside the Company Stage Manager, and to oversee and implement the Technical Swings’ schedule, taking into consideration the needs of all departments
The successful candidate will have:
Extensive Stage Manager (or Technical Stage Manager) experience on a mid-scale, large-cast production on a large scale tour or equivalent
Extensive practical stage management experience, including leading stage management departments.
Ability to lead and organise staff
Experience working with current Health & Safety legislation
Experience working with large teams
