Description:

Organization Description
The Théâtre National de Bretagne (TNB) is a unique CDN: European center for theatrical and choreographic creation, it has a mission extended to dance and music, a Festival, a Cinema (2 rooms) and a Higher School of Dramatic Art.
Since his arrival at the direction of the TNB in 2017, Arthur Nauzyciel has set up a project based on the triptych
“Share, Transmit, Meet”, with which he now associates 28 other artists. This project decompartmentalizes the disciplines by inviting the public to circulate from one to another and tells the fluidity of artistic expressions. The Cinema has its place there, being an integral part of the programming. With the arrival of class 10 in the fall of 2018, Arthur Nauzyciel and Laurent Poitrenaux are redesigning the pedagogical project of the École du TNB, through multidisciplinary and internationally-oriented actor training.
The TNB, European Center for Theatrical and Choreographic Creation, accompanies the creations of artists in the singularity of their artistic projects, investing the fields of theater, music, dance, plastic arts and human sciences. Creation and dissemination activities take place in 3 performance halls, 1 rehearsal room and 1 construction workshop.
After having been created in residence in Rennes, the shows of the TNB radiate in France and on the European and international stages.
Every year in November, the TNB presents the TNB Festival throughout the Rennes conurbation, highlighting new multidisciplinary experiences, national and international non-format projects. The TNB welcomes more than 200,000 spectators to Rennes each season.
