Description:Employment: Part Time ContractTerm: May 20 - December 20, 2025 Compensation: $25.00/hr Location: On Site Union Status: Non-Union Overview: Secret City is seeking an experienced and dynamic Stage Manager to join our team for an exciting Immersive Dining Experience, The Perfect Bite. As a Stage Manager, you will be at the heart of creating an engaging and seamless experience for our audience. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and strong leadership skills to manage all aspects of the stage environment. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Rehearsal Director, Creative Director and Production team to understand the vision and requirements of the show. Coordinate with the design team (set, costume, lighting, sound) to ensure all elements are integrated smoothly. Assist in the planning and execution of rehearsals, including scheduling and location logistics. Oversee and facilitate all rehearsals, maintaining a positive and productive environment. Keep accurate records of blocking, script changes, and other important notes. Communicate effectively with cast and crew to ensure everyone is informed of rehearsal schedules and any changes Performance Management: Manage all aspects of the performance from the control booth, ensuring cues are executed precisely. Supervise the set-up and striking of the stage, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Address any technical or logistical issues that arise during performances promptly. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of assistant stage managers, technicians, and runners. Facilitate clear communication among the production team, cast, and crew. Conduct regular team meetings and debriefs to review performances and implement improvements. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations. Maintain a safe working environment for the cast and crew at all times. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts, Stage Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Stage Manager, particularly in immersive or interactive theatre environments. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations. Knowledge of theatrical equipment and technology. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the production schedule.
