Summary

The Staff Audio Engineer is primarily responsible for running shows, shop builds, load-in, and load-out for the Alliance Theatre’s productions, including LORT B and D stages, as well as Theatre for Young Audiences shows. The Audio Engineer also works closely with other members of the Alliance Staff including: other Audio Staff, Electrics Crews, Stage Operations Crews, Properties Crews, Stage Managers, and Actors.

This is a full-time, year-round position, based on the calendar schedule of Alliance productions.

Requirements

Prior experience running sound and mixing wireless microphones for theatrical productions.

Experience in basic theatrical audio equipment including mixing consoles, QLab show control software, Mac computers, and wireless microphone setup.

Experience working with Equity actors or LORT theatres preferred.

College degree in technical theater or equivalent experience preferred.
