Sound No 2 - THE YEARS - Sonia Friedman Productions

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for an experienced, Sound No 2 on the West End production of The Years, adapted and directed by Eline Arbo, based on Les Ann es by Annie Ernaux.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to support and deputise for the Head of Sound. Candidates should be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure as well as having strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly and that the sound design is maintained.

Responsibilities include the preparation, rigging, maintenance and operation of the sound design. Ideal candidates will have experience in running radio mics, sound mixing and the operation of QLab.

Experience working on a West End production is essential.

Please Note: All applicants must be able to commit to the full contract.

Job Location: Harold Pinter Theatre

Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday, 19th April 2025

Salary:Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.

Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Monday to Saturday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
