RWS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP is seeking SINGER/MUSICIANS for IBEROSTAR RESORTS with contract dates starting as early as January ‘22.
SEEKING: Union and Non-Union performers. Must be 18 years of age or older. Prior theater or other live entertainment experience preferred. Fluency or ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
SINGER/MUSICIANS: Singers with strong pop/contemporary vocals. Belters with a strong mix/head and tenors/baritenors who move well or dance. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must be able to command a stage and tell a story. Must be comfortable with guest interaction. Certain contracts require Singers to have the ability to play an instrument and/or accompany their own vocals on guitar, piano, etc.
NOTE: Performers can be Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian/Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern/North African/South Asian, and/or white, as well as inclusive of all gender identities.
CONTRACT INFORMATION
IBEROSTAR RESORT – Resident entertainers for Iberostar resort properties in Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Brazil. Multi-month all-inclusive contracts rolling out in 2021 and 2022. $575/week. Travel and lodging provided.
LIVE AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS
RWS will hold in-person auditions by appointment for Singers, Singer/Dancers and Singer/Instrumentalists at RWS Studios in NEW YORK, NY on DECEMBER 14TH AND 15TH, 2021. Live auditions will be held at RWS Studios, 37-12 35th St, Long Island City, NY 11101. Please note that you must make an appointment in advance using the link below to attend.
WHAT TO PREPARE:
SINGER/INSTRUMENTALISTS: Please prepare two contrasting 32-bar selections, with at least one of them self-accompanied, or as an instrumental solo. An accompanist will be provided for any non-self-accompanied selections. Please note you may be asked to attend a movement/dance call later that afternoon.
