Job Description
The Liverpool Empire Theatre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join us as a Senior Technician - Stage & Fly's. This role is an integral part of the technical team within this busy regional venue.
The Senior Technician - Stage & Fly's will facilitate all day-to-day aspects of running the stage infrastructure within the theatre relating to both the production and the building. Working closely with the Head of Stage, you will ensure that all operational, regulatory and compliance requirements are met for the venue and visiting companies. You will supervise casual stage crew and dressers, and communicate closely with visiting productions & show management to ensure a smooth get in, fit up and get out. This role will involve regular evening and weekend work.
The successful candidate must be an excellent team player with great communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a large casual team as well as an ability to assist on stage when and if required. You will also have a good working knowledge of current health & safety legislation as well as working at height.
