The Senior Production Artisan works with the Senior II and Designer in order to fabricate dimensional assets utilizing shop drawings or artistic renderings to meet Designer’s vision. The Senior Production Artisan repairs and maintains existing assets and creats new assets which meet Disney standards. Advanced knowledge of materials, tools and techniques utilized in creation of live entertainment assets for one or more of the following disciplines: Carpentry, Scenic Painting, Sculpting, Textiles, Puppetry, Sign Fabrication and Scenic Construction. · The Senior Production Artisan I will have advanced knowledge and hands on skills operating associated equipment and tools used in their area of expertise.
Requirements
You Will:
Use primary fabrication tools, materials and techniques utilized in the maintenance and creation of entertainment assets
Fabricate and guide Production Artisans in execution of new assets
Evaluation of efficiency for asset creation
Maintain safe work environment including respirator use, cleanliness of area, proper chemical handling and documentation
Maintain records of chemical use and proper hazard waste disposal
You will have:
Experience representing a broad background of all crafts and disciplines of stagecraft including carpentry, scenic painting, sculpting, sewing, properties construction, sign printing, and estimating.
Energetic (this position requires stamina and ability to be on one’s feet all day)
Focus (mental concentration required to ensure safety, particularly when operating power tools)
Adaptability (may be required to change work priorities on short notice to ensure on-time production deadlines)

Education
High school diploma or related equivalent experience
The pay rate for this role in Anaheim, CA is $37.00 to $45.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
