Reporting to the VP, Talent Casting & Recruitment, the Senior Manager, Performer Casting - Dancers is responsible for casting and recruitment of talent dancers across RWS projects.

Role & Responsibilities

Strategically sources and hires dancers and other movement talent based on the best fit for projects needs across a wide array of projects that fall under the RWS umbrella .

Engages in the coordination and execution of a recruitment and audition strategy and schedule that meets the ongoing needs and demands of the business.

Develops focused recruitment initiatives and relationship building with various players in the entertainment industry, inclusive of agents, training programs and universities, and studios.

Conducts auditions (online and in cities around the world) to source the best talent based on the needs of each project.

Identifies, engages, and develops pipeline programs for qualified talent with top external agencies, schools, studios, audition conventions, etc. worldwide in cooperation with internal RWS programs and departments.

Liaises with external audition venue and other convention point people in the coordination of audition and recruitment events.

Partners with Artistic Services and Production Services to ensure the overall quality and integrity of casting is being upheld in conjunction with the client need.

Continually analyzes processes and systems and develop strategies for improving future results.

Facilitates the full cycle recruitment and onboarding processes; including recruitment/sourcing, interview, identify/selection, and internal onboarding of all new hires, in conjunction with the Casting Coordinator.

Ensures continuous research and analysis of the competitive landscape and recruitment trends of the industry to ensure RWS remains relevant and functional within the entertainment/performance field.

Has a good understanding and utilization of audition and recruitment platforms to ensure an efficient and effective recruitment strategy, pursuant to the varying strategic plans for the array of casting needs.

Ensures strict and consistent compliance with EEO, equity and diversity policies set forth by the company

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related Entertainment and/or Entertainment Business field.

Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working with performers of a wide range of talent disciplines, preferably in a hiring capacity.

Previous dance performance experience

Strategic thinking to find solutions to complex problems, with the ability to balance short and long-term objectives.

Ability to work proactively, both individually and as a team.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Must be proficient in MS Office and Dropbox.

Strong understanding of required skills needed to be a successful performer for ships, parks, and installations. Prior ship or theme park experience a plus.

Extensive experience in creating, developing, and implementing comprehensive recruitment and auditioning initiatives.

Comfortable executing multiple projects with competing deadlines and demands efficiently and effectively.

Ability to consult and develop strong internal relationships that are collaborative and span through multiple departments and levels within the organization

Strong presentational and negotiation skills.

Current contacts and relationships with industry professionals, agencies, and schools a plus.

Ability to execute complex and time-sensitive administrative processes with ease and efficiency.

A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel-related roles. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or proof of exemption) will be required.

Mobile (in NY/NJ/CT Metro Area): Team members who are pre-approved to regularly perform their job responsibilities remotely up to two (2) days per week, with three (3) days per week operating out of the RWS New York City headquarters.

Salary : $70,000 annual exempt salary
