Ballets Jazz Montréal, under the Artistic Direction of Alexandra Damiani, is seeking two highly experienced and technical soloist dancers for a full season contract, which includes national and international touring.

Ballets Jazz Montréal, under the Artistic Direction of Alexandra Damiani, is seeking two highly experienced and technical soloist dancers for a full season contract, which includes national and international touring.

Repertoire includes works by Andonis Foniadakis, Ihsan Rustem, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Aszure Barton, Juliano Nunes and Anne Plamondon.

Audition participants will be required to demonstrate a solid background in ballet and contemporary dance techniques. Candidates should have the ability to quickly learn choreography and demonstrate high level of partnering skills. The artist will engage in the core values guiding the organization: curiosity, commitment, participation, research, problem-solving, collaboration, positive energy, and creativity.

How to apply: Interested persons must first register and also send the following documents:

An up-to-date resumé (1 page)
1 headshot
1 full-body dance photo
Video link of a max. 3 minutes clearly showing yourself dancing (password-free)

Note: Due to COVID regulations, participant numbers are limited. Early registration is highly recommended. A vaccination certificate and photo ID will be requested upon arrival at the studio.
