SEEKING
Seeking submissions from Connecticut-based male and female actors and hosts for “Once Upon a Virtual Christmas,” a Holiday experience held at a retail center in Stamford, CT.
Once Upon a Virtual Christmas is a unique and magical interactive experience where guests in the retail center can safely visit live with Santa from a remote location. Santa’s Helpers will assist with facilitating the guest experience, interacting with both guests and Santa.
Seeking Male and Female Actors/Hosts: Stamford area-based talent or those who are able to commute to Stamford daily. Any Ethnicity. Non-union, over the age of 18, with dynamic personalities, who are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park, Cruise Ship, Hosting, and Children’s Theatre credits are a plus.
[SANTA’S HELPERS] Energetic and enthusiastic Male and Female hosts who facilitate this virtual Santa experience. Must enjoy working with children and families and spreading Holiday cheer. Should feel confident executing monetary transactions and giving instruction. Must be able to handle both scripted and improv/immersive moments to create genuine interaction.
CONTRACT INFO
Dates: There will be a fitting in NYC tentatively scheduled for November 13, 2020. Rehearsals will take place remotely via Zoom on November 17 and at the retail center in Stamford on November 18, 2020 (tentatively 9am-5pm). The experience runs November 19 – December 24, 2020. Weekly hours are 11am-7pm Monday through Sunday, except December 24 (11am-6pm). Must have availability for the entire run of the experience. Santa’s Helpers will be given a meal break each day and every fourth day off on rotation throughout the contract.
Compensation: $684/week
All performers MUST be able to commute back and forth to the retail center each day. Housing and transportation are not provided for this contract.
