The programme include works by Eliot Smith, Martin Hylton, Balbir Singh, and Yamit Salazar. Based in the North East of England, the Company create works using classical techniques working in collaboration with composers, musicians, and designers. ESD is looking to appoint dancers who can demonstrate high levels of commitment, enthusiasm for ESD’s work and exceptional talent in contemporary and ballet technique with a sense of their individual artistry. Applicants must live and work in the UK. ESD aim to be a diverse and inclusive Company and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We encourage dancers living in the North East of England, and applicants who have applied in the past to apply for these positions. Rehearsal dates: 03 May – 15 June and 06 July (No work on Bank Holiday’s) Tour dates: 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 29 June and 07 July Place of work: Ashington, Northumberland as well as Newcastle City Centre.
