Located down a secret alleyway on West 57th Street, The Stranger is a utopian refuge created to awaken the senses and rescue guests from reality. The Strangers play host to curious outsiders, inviting visitors to experience an evening of merrymaking, culinary delights, playful libations, and surprising encounters.
We are seeking HOSTS and CREW MEMBERS who are comfortable with guest interaction, food and beverage service (at stations and carts), and entertainment. These roles will all have performance, immersive, and activity elements in addition to hospitality functions. Everyone will be taught select magic tricks. We are looking for people who love creating fun, high-energy environments and are excited to do a variety of things.

CURRENTLY SEEKING
[STRANGERS]: The Life of The Party. Part server, part roaming entertainment, The Strangers are jacks-of-all-trades who keep the fun nonstop. We are seeking first and foremost interesting individuals who love to chat, engage, and interact with guests. Strangers have their own Party Tricks -- we’re seeking skilled singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, burlesque, variety performers, circus talent, tarot readers/palm readers/mystics and all-around-talented folks.
[PIANO LOUNGE HOST]: An engaging, charismatic, and enchanting lounge singer and piano player in a Bemelmans-meets-Blade Runner cocktail lounge. The Piano Lounge Host welcomes guests to The Stranger. They should be high-energy and fun. Looking for a repertoire of multiple genres, covers, and greatest hits. Should be comfortable with hosting a room of guests and interacting with guests for the duration of an event.
[TREEHOUSE HOST]: A confident and gregarious drag queen with a wicked sense of humor. Performs drag act(s) and hosts a variety of games and activities including drag bingo, lipsync battles, or game wheels. Looking for someone retro and camp who isn’t afraid to get a little mean -- think Dolly Parton’s bitchy sister.
[PARK HOSTS]: Seeking performers prolific in various circus skills including but not limited to aerial, hula hoops, fire, acrobatics, and contortion. Must be comfortable being in water and climbing various surfaces.
[DEN HOST]: An engaging and commanding presence, but still fun. Leads activities like challenges and karaoke. Familiarity with magic a plus. Should be comfortable with hosting a room of guests and interacting with them for the duration of an event.
[HIGH ROLLER HOST]: A dominatrix. The host of a VIP room, where they lead guest-facing activities and organized “casino-style” games. Should be quick-witted, charismatic, and captivating.

Remarkable Entertainment is the management company for The Stranger, a new immersive Midtown bar/venue space. We are an immersive production company based in New York, NY that develops and creates innovative entertainment projects rooted in big ideas and guided by the principle that the only sin is boring the audience. Our projects span a wide variety of genres including theatre, nightlife, circus, magic, and variety and strike what is elementally human in our audiences.
