Seeking Instructors for Toddler Classes (Music, Art, Movement and Enrichment)
Recess d.u.m.b.o., a children's play space, educational enrichment center and birthday party venue, is looking for a lead instructor for its enrichment and mommy & me classes for kids ages 12 months to 3 years.
We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, flexible class leaders to teach kids 0-5 years old (ex: classes for kids 0-2 yrs, 2-4 yrs, 4-5 yrs) for the following classes:


-Enrichment
-Music
-Theater/Acting

Classes run mornings, Monday through Friday, and include free play, circle time, art, movement and storytime. We have a curriculum for our instructors to use as a guide, but there is room for customization. Classes are capped at 8 children, and an assistant will work with you if there are at least 5 children in the class.

A commitment is required for the full fall session (May 2-June 24), with a preference to job candidates who can commit to teaching through 2022.

Candidates must have (i) a college degree, (ii) experience teaching young children in a classroom setting and (iii) be fully vaccinated. Musical abilities (voice and/or an instrument) are preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but can be obtained during the session.
