Seriously, you get to spend all weekend (and sometimes weekdays) dressing up and playing with kids! We offer 40+ party themes so the job can offer a full of variety. You'll enjoy hosting private birthday parties (usually for 1 to 2 hours) and joining a team of entertainers to perform at corporate events (1 to 8 hour bookings). We are looking for people who are willing to learn our various party packs (Disco, Characters, Science etc) as well as learn new skills such as face painting, balloon twisting and magic tricks. Who should apply? As long as you love working with kids and have a big, confident personality then we can train you on the rest! We have people of all types of background in our network - Trained actors / performers Childcare professionals Mums & dads wanting weekend work Students You don't need to have specific qualifications or experience however of course if you do this is fantastic and will mean we can immediately have you out at events! Key requirements: To be eligible for this position have an exciting and confident persona and be comfortable interacting with kids. Other requirements include – A reliable car and current driver’s license A fun and bubbly personality Confidence and energy to run/host parties Weekend availability - this is a job that can consistently provide work all weekend, every weekend! Preferable experience includes but not required - Performance/acting/dancing Working with children Face painting, balloon twisting or magic (let us know if you've done anything by way of this!) Training provided We run a great training program to bring entertainers up to speed with all aspects of the role. This includes watching online training videos and working alongside other experienced entertainers in our team. The position involves ongoing weekend work and involves driving to the party venue (usually private homes, parks and halls) and working solo or with other entertainers. Pay rate The pay rate depends on your city and skill set. Entertaining is a highly rewarding and well paid job and most people in our network rely on Amazing Kids Parties as their primary income.
