The Lost Estate are seeking a skilled Sound Technician to work one their upcoming production of Sherlock, The Great Murder Mystery at their permanent site in West Kensington. The individual will be a proactive member of the team who will be responsible for operating & Mixing of the show daily.
Job Description
Job Title: Sound Technician
Department: Production
Reports To: Head of Productions
Rate of Pay: £750/week (freelance) + Holiday Pay 12.7%
Dates of Work: 12th February - September 29th 2024
Days: Full-time, 6 days per week during run. Tuesday-Sunday.
The Lost Estate are seeking a skilled Sound Technician to work one their upcoming production of Sherlock, The Great Murder Mystery at their permanent site in West Kensington. The individual will be a proactive member of the running team who will be responsible for operating & Mixing of the show daily. Alongside the mixing of the show they will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the sound equipment with assistance from the running team and Head of Productions.
Job Requirements
Operating and live mixing the show (using Digico)
The operation and understanding of Qlab
Excellent problem solving skills.
Fitting and maintaining mics throughout the shows run
Performing pre-show rig checks
Maintaining the Sound rig throughout shows run
Good working knowledge of health and safety in a theatrical workspace
Job Responsibilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing production needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bring creative solutions as problems Arise.
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Ideal experience an immersive production environment
