SoBo Productions is seeking 3 professional contemporary dancers / movement-based artists, preferably belonging to LGBTQQIP2SAA+ community for their next dance production XE.
Where: Mannheim, Germany
When: 5 June 2022 (by invitation only)
Deadline for applications: 15 May 2022
XE is a hybrid format under the artistic direction of Darja Reznikova. The intention is to create both a site-specific multimedia live dance performance and an interactive dance film. The production explores gender-neutral language and questions the impact of language on our gender differentiation.
Candidates must be available for the whole of the set of dates below! The whole project will take place in Mannheim, Germany, fee includes travel and accommodation expenses. The project is supported by the Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien, Neustart Kultur – NPN Stepping Out, Kulturamt Mannheim and Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg!
Audition (via invitation only):

Rehearsal Period:
20 June – 21 July 2022
Premiere & Performance Dates:
22, 23, 27 & 28 July 2022
Filming:
1 – 7 August 2022
