push / FOLD seeks one to two (1-2) professional-level artists adept in athletic contemporary movement, partnering, and floor work from any dance genre or tradition.

Format:
This is a workshop-style audition that culminates in several selections and an invitation to rehearse with the company for up to 6 rehearsals following the audition (approx. 2 calendar weeks). Final determinations on company positions will occur after the invited rehearsals.

† On-going contracts include performances, dance-for-film creations, and community engagement programming within the Pacific Northwest, on tour, and here in Portland, Oregon.
Additional paid opportunities for non-dance work with push/FOLD are available throughout the season.
Rehearsals are approximately 9-12 hours per week with around 3-8 performances per year.
