We are looking for an experienced circus trainer (with great references) who is looking to transition to high school teaching with circus as one of their teaching specialties. Must have a Bachelor's degree and be willing to study a Masters of Teaching as a postgrad or be willing to study education as an undergraduate degree. Salary range for a Classroom Teacher in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) as of 2020 is $73, 246- $109, 641 with 12 weeks annual leave.

The University of Canberra High School, Kaleen in Canberra, ACT is offering a 0.2-0.4 position for the 2021 school year for a circus trainer on the elective program (at school administration rates), who is also interested in pursuing teaching as a career. Ideally, they would work with the teacher on the circus elective classes (employed by the school) and study a Masters of Teaching (ANU or UC are local options).
