Description:
As the face of Circus Center to our students, faculty, and the community, you will be the first person many come in contact with and the center of our organization’s activity. The School Administrator provides direct support and assistance to the Artistic Director and Head of School, and oversees the organizational calendar and the implementation of its training programs. The position is a salaried full time position. This is an in-person role with a primary office location of 755 Frederick Street, San Francisco, CA 94117. Reporting to the Artistic Director and Head of School, the School Administrator holds a senior administrative role.
Compensation
$76,000-84,000 DOE

Duties
-Leading the school administration staff in support of the varied needs of the school and its students.
-Exemplify a high level of customer engagement in all interactions with clients and the team. You will show this through creating a welcoming atmosphere where all are greeted warmly, feel valued, and leave ----interactions with a feeling of happiness.
-Manage the organizational calendar
-Create and manage classes, resources, and schedules in registration software (MindBody Online)
-Create class lists and room schedules
-Communicate class details, updates, and policies to administrative staff and instructors. Send coaches finalized schedules each term.
-Execute schedule changes/irregularities in registration software and communicate information to staff
-Assist with student schedule distribution
-Collect and analyze data about student enrollment and capacity utilization. --Assist with tracking and following up with youth attendance
-Ensure that instructors and substitutes are secured for all classes
-Send staff reminders and updates
-Assist with scheduling staff trainings and meetings
-Assist with guest workshops
-Assist with student evaluation distribution
-Work with youth leadership to make sure the youth web pages stay up to date
-Update and maintain program-related records, documents, and materials
-Oversee use of Circus Center venue by outside groups

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience highly desirable
-Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complexity
-Ability to master software platforms and train others in their use
-Strong ability to organize processes and manage projects - be a whiz at spreadsheets!
-You pride yourself on your productivity and efficiency
-Energized by the challenges that come with being a career administrator
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 30 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to various components of an office environment such as fluorescent lighting, pollen, dust, recycled air, cooling fans, VDTs, semi-enclosed areas, seasonal warmer/cooler temperatures and office noise.
