MagicSnow is a Los Angeles-based special effects production company that specializes in the design and development of artificial snow and snow making technology for the entertainment industry. We produce dozens of major snow themed projects around the world each year.

We are currently seeking a company Scheduling for an immediate full time project and continued part-time, seasonal position. The position is partially remote with some office hours required.

The Scheduling Coordinator works directly under our Project Manager, and also works closely with the company President, Principal Technical Director, and Warehouse Manager. They will support the MagicSnow production staff with the logistics and planning to deliver high-quality projects for our clients and a valued work experience for our employees.

Essential Functions:
- Data entry for our company schedules; receipts; and client, vendor, and employee information
- Daily contact with Project Managers to maintain databases of project timelines and statuses
- Paperwork creation and management
- On-call point of contact for MagicSnow employees regarding scheduling and travel assistance
- Send and track FedEx packages
- Vendor coordination
- Coordinate employee travel needs including assisting the President in making changes to hotel and airfare, and reserving rental vehicles.
- Develop weekly schedule to properly staff all projects, along with individual project schedules
- Maintain the President’s schedule
Qualifications:
-Experience working with live events and entertainment
-Production scheduling and coordination
-Basic computer skills, Excel, Word, Mail
-Detail-oriented is a must
-Experience with SAP or other business operations software is a plus
-Quickbooks experience is a plus
-Ability to work on holidays and off-hours is a plus
