Description:

As Rigging Department Manager/Project Manager, you'll lead and supervise the Rigging Team in the design, installation, and servicing of rigging systems—including motorized hoists, chain motors, truss, fly systems, and structural rigging—while also driving project sales and overseeing submittals and post-project documentation.

You'll be responsible for keeping the department running like a well-oiled machine, with a strong focus on timeliness, accuracy, safety, and quality craftsmanship. This includes running weekly team meetings, coordinating with project managers and outside trades (general contractors, electricians, structural steel teams, and owners) on job sites, and stepping into a project management role as needed. You'll plan and schedule the team across design work, installations, quotations, and service calls, ensure clients receive timely and meaningful responses, and partner with purchasing and logistics so your team always has what it needs.
