Job Responsibilities
The person who occupies this position must above all like writing in order to present the various Cirque Machine projects in the best light. Under the responsibility of the Deputy Director General, her tasks may be adapted to her skills and interests, but will mainly consist of:
Write different grant applications highlighting the characteristics and advantages of the projects according to the intervention priorities of public partners;
Analyze the different artistic and heritage projects, synthesize them and explain them clearly in writing;
Produce and collect all the documents necessary for submitting the various grant applications;
Respect the deadlines set by the various donors for submitting grant applications;
Ensure compliance with grant agreements with other departments of the company;
Prepare subsidy reports according to the requirements of each public partner, in consultation with the relevant departments in the company;
Manage grant requests throughout their lifespan;
Maintain the network of contacts with different donors;
Research and analyze the different public financing programs available to finance the completion of different projects (carry out a monitoring);
Develop the strategy for submitting various grant applications in collaboration with the management team;
Prepare company activity reports;
Other related tasks.
Qualifications and skills sought
University degree in communications, literature, journalism, administration or a related discipline or combination of training and experience deemed equivalent;
Excellent command of written French, high quality of writing;
Sense of responsibility and organization, analytical mind and discernment;
Good management of priorities and compliance with deadlines;
Versatility, flexibility, proactivity and autonomy;
Experience in a cultural organization (an asset);
Experience in an organization with international activities (an asset).
