Description:
The National School of Circus Arts of Rosny-sous-Bois (ENACR) was born in 1983 from the will of a few enthusiasts fully committed to the cause of circus arts. This association under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, the Île-de-France Region, the Department of Seine-Saint-Denis and the City of Rosny-sous-Bois has been developing for more than 30 years a real platform for training in circus arts dedicated to students in initial training, amateurs without age barriers and professionals in the performing arts.
The ENACR offers an initial and professional training course leading to the Artistic Certificate in Circus Techniques (Level IV State Diploma). It is authorized to award the Circus Teacher diploma (level III State diploma), implemented in partnership with the Fratellini Academy and the CNAC.
The ENACR offers amateur practice courses for children and adults and has more than 300 members throughout the year. It also welcomes professionals for training, residency or continuing education courses.
Main mission :
Under the responsibility of the Technical Director, the Circus Technician participates in all tasks relating to the apparatus, equipment and premises (control, monitoring, maintenance, etc.) allowing the smooth running of the activities of the National School of Circus Arts. of Rosny-sous-Bois.
Detailed tasks:
Monitoring of equipment, safety equipment and apparatus
He.She proceeds:
the inventory, marking, periodic checks and maintenance of equipment, safety equipment and apparatus;
assembly, inspection and dismantling of equipment, safety equipment and apparatus; - checking hooks;
monitoring loans and rentals of equipment and apparatus;
the organization and storage of equipment, safety equipment and apparatus.
Inspection and repair of buildings and equipment
He.She proceeds:
visual inspection of the condition of the marquee (canvas, structure);
tidying up the building;
monitoring the maintenance of administrative premises and green spaces;
repair and replacement of worn or defective parts, routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
He.She makes sure that the equipment works properly. Depending on the needs, he may be required to carry out some carpentry, painting and locksmithing work.
Management of spaces and teaching materials
He.She carries out the technical organization of spaces, classrooms and equipment according to the needs of users.
Peripheral activities and tasks
He.She proceeds:
the opening or closing of the premises;
adjusting and handling technical equipment related to shows;
the administrative follow-up of technical elements in conjunction with the Technical Director;
transporting material.
Required profile
Be versatile.
Know how to plan activities that are very different from each other according to oral or written instructions.
Master the diversity of equipment (instructions and use).
Know how to communicate with the occupants of the premises and know how to be discreet.
Knowing how to report on one's actions and report any malfunctions or difficulties encountered.
Qualifications and diploma:
Required: Driving license B (car)
And desired: Electrical accreditation, CACES lifting platform 1A, PSC 1 Proven knowledge and experience in terms of attachments (CQP1)
Remuneration and conditions:
Position to be filled no earlier than 35 hours per week, hours may vary depending on school activities (including evenings, weekends and public holidays).
Remuneration: according to experience.
