South Florida Gymnastics has a great culture that has been in place for 20 years. Any applicants must have a positive attitude, be adaptable and willing to support others, work well with kids of all ages, and be reliable as a leader in the community. All SFG employees are expected to maintain professional attitudes, appearances, and behavior at all times while in the facility. A general knowledge in the sport of Gymnastics and a background in fitness is highly advised. This is a nights and weekend business so applicants will be expected to be available during the business hours of operation. We are willing to train on the job and are flexible with scheduling. Any employee at SFG is expected to be available to assist with all programs in the gym to help sub, fill in, or help when needed. We have parent-tot, preschool, girls developmental, boys developmental, tumbling, and circus recreational classes. The ideal candidate will be ready to assist in lesson plan development on a weekly basis, help organize and execute our monthly special events, and be a supportive role for our other rec coaches while out on the floor. The recreational lead coach position is a 30-40 hour per week job including the following:

1) Coaching Classes of all ages and skill level (20-25 hours/week)

2) Lesson planning and coaching development (10 hours/week)

3) Special event planning and working (5-10 hours/week)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff is expected to wear a face-mask while in the building and around clients, must be willing to assist with side-work tasks at the end of their shift and sanitize their stations after use, and wash their hands hourly.
