Description:DescriptionSeeking highly skilled and talented puppeteers and/or physical performers to form part of a small core team touring to a variety of events and festivals throughout 2022 and into 2023. The company is based in Brighton & Hove, and we will prioritise applicants based in London & the South East of England. Ideally you will have several years experience working professionally either as a puppeteer or a physical performer. You will have a strong grasp of movement, be able to pick up choreography quickly, and be just as comfortable acting from a script as you are animating an object or engaging with audiences. We are looking for team players with a passion for making great creative work, a willingness to work hard, an enthusiasm for touring to new and interesting locations and a great sense of humour. This is a physically demanding role bringing to life large and weighty puppets, in a variety of outdoor events, festivals and public spaces. Due to this, we are seeking physically fit performers with good core strength. We are seeking between 3 and 6 performers to join the Puppets with Guts team, working on our big puppet shows The Lips and Gnomus. We have a variety of events lined up for 2022 including international dates which will require proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status. Due to this we are currently only accepting applications from fully vaccinated individuals. All performers will be contracted according to ITC rates. To select performers we will be hosting general auditions.
