Disney Cruise Line: Casting Notice for Disney Adventure’s Inaugural Voyage - 2025
For the first time in Forever… Disney Cruise Line is casting for Puppeteers!
Sail into history with Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Adventure, setting off in 2025 from Singapore! Be part of an unparalleled opportunity as we launch our newest ship with an inaugural cast that will bring Disney’s magic to the high seas like never before.
SEEKING:
Large Puppet Operators: Seeking strong, skilled performers to operate large-scale puppets for upcoming shows and immersive experiences onboard. Must have experience with full-body or puppet-suit operation. Casting need in heights 5’7” to 5’10”
Rod and Hand Puppet Performers: Looking for puppeteers with refined skills in rod and hand puppet manipulation to bring beloved characters to life in our onboard productions
EXO Suit Puppet Operators: Performers with experience or interest in using EXO technology are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for select roles
Specialty Puppet Roles: Unique and original characters will be making their debut on the Adventure! Skilled puppeteers with backgrounds in creature puppetry, mechanics, and innovation are encouraged to apply
HOW TO AUDITION:
Step 1: Create/Update Performer Profile
Please click “HERE” to create or update your profile before attending the audition
Make sure your profile includes an up-to-date resume and contact information
All candidates must have a profile to audition
Step 2: Upload Your Performance Reel
Upload your performance reel to YouTube as an unlisted video
Add your video to your Disney Auditions profile by clicking the edit button (pencil icon) in the Links section. Add your YouTube link, select “Public URL,” and title your video: “Puppeteer Reel - NAME FIRST LAST”
Step 3: Check-in to Audition
Please visit checkin.disneyauditions.com - at the top of the page, select “Check to View Auditions Available for Check-in”
Select the audition “Disney Cruise Line | Disney Adventure - Puppeteer (Online Submission)
Take a selfie, answer the check-in questions, and submit.
You’re all set! Please do not submit more than once
The team will reach out directly should they need anything further. Select candidates may be invited to submit additional audition materials or attend in-person auditions
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
If selected, performers will be hired as crew and must complete all application, pre-employment, and onboarding requirements.
Must be willing to comply with all Disney grooming guidelines and employment standards.
All performers must be at least 18 years of age.
All performers must be fluent in English (understanding, speaking, and writing).
Travel is required.
We strongly encourage performers from all cultural backgrounds to audition.
