Sesame Place is committed to the health and safety of our guests and team members. We have worked diligently with state and local health officials, outside consultants and attraction industry leaders to enhance our already strict health, safety and cleanliness standards. These protocols and guidelines will be modified based on evolving industry standards and methodologies, public health and governmental directives, and advancing scientific knowledge on the transmissibility of COVID-19.

We are excited to continue to provide our guests with fun, inspiring and memorable experiences, while addressing important health and safety needs during this time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform as a puppeteer in 4-12 shows per day in assigned area according to show schedule
Perform in parade both in and out of character costumes
Provide exemplary service to guests and team members
Perform warm-up on individual basis to insure performance without injury
Develop skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance
Follow through on show/performance notes to ensure progress in specific areas
Escort costumed characters during walk
Assist those in character costumes with dressing and undressing of costumes
Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
Maintain a professional appearance that meets SEA grooming standards
Assist in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner
Work with cast/crew and management to maintain the integrity of the show
Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed
Assist in maintaining cleanliness, crowd control and guest safety in all venues

Requirements and Competencies:
Must be able to stay guest friendly at all times
Must be able to work in all weather conditions in and out of costume
Must demonstrate ability to perform in casted role during the audition process
Must be able to attend required rehearsals
Must be able to lift, bend, push or pull 45 lbs.
Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service
Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays February 1st, 2021 through January 9th, 2022
Holidays are not guaranteed time off. Team Members will be staffed on a business need first. We are open all major holidays including Christmas Day.
Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
All Team Members are required to wear a facial covering during all trainings, rehearsals and scheduled shifts.
Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines

Puppeteers can bring their own puppet but a puppet will be available for the audition.
