Description:SummaryThe Contemporary American Theater Festival, a leading producer of contemporary plays, is welcoming applications for a Projections/Media Engineer for our summer season. Each summer the festival premieres or produces multiple plays in 4 venues. The Projections/Media Engineer will work with the Projections Designer in one venue to implement their vision for the production, utilizing a mixture of playback and live sources. The Engineer is also responsible for supervising a Projections/Media Intern who will assist with system setup and serve as an operator during performances. Contract dates are May 25 thru July 7, 2024 Requirements Applicants should have experience working in flexible spaces with temporary projection systems and should be comfortable with basic theatrical rigging and working at heights over 20 feet (in lifts, ladders, or catwalks). Experience with Qlab, basic projector setup, and basic computer networking is required. Experience with crew management, equipment purchase and/or rental specification, and NDI video transport and/or live streaming is preferred.
