Description:
The Cirque du Soleil Casting team will hold auditions in Budapest (Hungary) in May of 2019 for Professional Instrumentalists with stage experience and versatility.
We will prioritize the following categories of instrumentalists (in all styles):
-Multi-instrumentalists (for example: cello+keyboard, accordion+keyboard, -saxophone+keyboard, guitar+keyboard, saxophone+guitar+keyboard, others)
-Stringed instrumentalists (plucked and bowed instruments)
-Bandleaders (keyboard, electric bass, drums, guitar)
-Wind instrumentalists (brass, woodwind)
-Percussionists
-Multi-disciplinary artists (instrumentalists/actors, instrumentalists/dancers, instrumentalists/acrobats, instrumentalists/singers)
Required qualifications:
-18 years old and older
-Male or female
-Professional and versatile musician
-Good stage experience
-Ability to sing an asset
-Excellent improvisation skills
-Ability to blend together a variety of genres and styles
-Willingness to work on a touring show
