HOODS FLAKES was born from the commitment of 10 artists: dancers, musicians, DJs, stylists, and videographers. This hybrid collective enjoys subversively and humorously subverting our relationship with reality and fiction. Hoods Flakes takes over public space, sometimes through the notion of "robbery," sometimes under the guise of a performative concert, all sprinkled with well-measured clichés. Through protean performances with variable geometries, they capture our emotions, subvert our daily habits, and confront very festive and joyful atmospheres with a certain form of subversion. Thus, the question of risk-taking and the relationship with the public constantly permeates their work, forcing them to systematically reinvent themselves.
