Description of the organization
The fragile attention company, created by Gilles Cailleau and Patou Bondaz in 99, takes its marquees everywhere, believing that the circus, the theater or the music are not done in front, but among people.
Each show invents its own structure: a marquee-umbrella (Gilles & Bérénice), a bamboo theater (Tout L'Univers en smaller), a Berber tent (Le Tour complet du cœur), a canvas cabaret (Encore des mots ), a vacant lot (La Guerre des Boutons), a Kyrgyz yurt (Tania's paradise / Lulu's Paradise), a silted arena (Carmen, opera displaced), a no man's land open to the sky (Le Nouveau monde) ... a square marquee (Fournaise, The Lost Cabaret…).
Coming from the theater and caught up in the circus, Gilles Cailleau co-wrote all of the company's shows with the artists he puts on the track. He has also created his shows around classical authors and composers (Shakespeare, Racine, Louis Pergaud, Bizet…).
In 2013, he founded the Fragile School in La Vallette du Var (83) and was associate artist of Theaters in Dracénie in Draguignan (83), with which he set up a territory project with the adjoining villages.
In 2020 he revived the Fournaise show with the 33rd class of students from the CNAC de Chalons en Champagne.
Claiming its transversal membership in the performing arts, theater and street arts, the company takes its marquees in France and abroad. It is programmed and co-produced by all types of places, from the most recognized to the smallest (CDN of Nice, Thionville, Rouen, the National stages of Angoulême, Foix, Tarbes, Albi, Alès , Creusot, Roche-sur-Yon, Toulon, Marseille, Belfort, Gap, Martigues ... By the National Centers of Street Arts in Cognac, Pronomades in Haute-Garonne, Sotteville -Lès-Rouen, Chalon dans la Rue, Marseille ... Cirque Poles of Auch, Grasse, Amiens, Alès, Cherbourg, Elbeuf ... And also by many Agreed Scenes , city theaters, cultural offices, urban communities ...
Attention Fragile has a DRAC-PACA agreement. It brings together people who have worked together for 30 years and are constantly opening up to new people, new energies, new perspectives.
Since 2021, Gilles has been running the Séchoir, an approved stage in Saint-Leu, Reunion Island.
Since his departure, the team has been working with him on the company's next shows (RE-TE-NUE and Pandora's Box), and those that continue to tour: Je suis Carmen, Carmen, opera displaced and Lulu's Paradise.
Job Description
Work in articulation / coordination with the artistic team, the administrator, the distribution manager of the company and the technical team.
ASSEMBLY OF THE PRODUCTION OF LA BOITE DE PANDORE (creation 2022):
- search for financial contribution in co-production with pre-targeted programmers;
- search for places of residence
- search for financial aid from public and private institutions (SACD, specific distribution networks, DGCA, etc.)
- selection and applications for calls for projects corresponding to the show and its characteristics
- implementation in place of a retro-planning / coordination with the company's tools;
- research of PRE-PURCHASES, before creation
- contractualization of residences and co-productions
- if necessary: setting up of a crowdfunding campaign
- search for contributions in industry (partnerships, even sponsorship, etc.)
Description of the profile sought
- Experience in a similar position in a live performance company, if possible Circus and Street Art network;
- ideally, a great address book (relationships already established with professionals)
- Intuition, autonomy, capacity for initiative,
- Oral and writing fluency, spirit of synthesis, quality of listening and interpersonal skills, within the company and with external contacts,
- Good command of computer tools (spreadsheet, collaborative tools such as dropboxes, shared agendas, etc.),
- Fluency in English is a plus.
