JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a full-time Remote Production Manager to manage a hit variety show doing sit-down multi-week and multi-month engagements.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
* This hit variety show is presented in both conventional theatres and in raw spaces with a “pop up” set-up.
* You’ll be comfortable and knowledgeable on both the show-side and temporary-venue-side of the operation.

You’ll be planning, scheduling and budgeting in liaison with the technical director, stage managers and creative team.

Primary areas of responsibilities include:

INSTALLATION AND TRANSFER
* Load-ins and Load-Outs : Scheduling, planning and overseeing (in-person) both theatrical and raw-space load-ins and load-outs.
* Staffing: Local stagehand and operator recruiting.
* Temporary venue builds: Coordinating local fire and other permitting with the venue. Understanding the big-picture venue needs in addition to the show itself.
* Oversee freight, storage and logistics.

MAINTENANCE
* Liaising with stage management re issues during the run.
* Managing vendors for replacement props, costumes and technical equipment.
* Overseeing the maintenance and creation of show bibles, equipment register.

Requirements:

Experience with:
Budgeting and Cost Control
Scheduling
Recruitment
Health and Safety assessment
Understanding and experience with truss systems. Rigging knowledge prefered.
Understanding theatrical systems, ideally for sound-specific setups (sound and LX,).
Technical experience in sound, lighting and special effects.
Experience in managing teams of people, including technicians and crews
