DESCRIPTION

Starling Shakespeare Company is now accepting submissions for the Production Manager role in their 2025 summer season! This contract includes both their summer tour and the Mackinac Island Shakespeare Festival. The Production Manager's role is a hybrid Stage Management/Tour Management position. During the rehearsal process, the Production Manager will work closely with the Director and Production Team in a Stage Management capacity, assisting with logistics, time/room management, and providing more traditional stage management support to the Director. While on tour, the Production Manager will coordinate schedules/logistics for tour travel, act as a liaison for tour hosts, and maintain tour paperwork and other records. All members of the 6-person company (5 actors and 1 Production Manager), will participate in set-up and strike for each performance. All company members will also have various responsibilities based on skill, interest, and need, to be assigned throughout the production process (i.e. fight captain, dance captain, assisting with props/costumes, promotional material distribution, etc.).
