Organization Description
Les Poulbots, a company that has existed for seven years, is growing and is looking for a profile that can
accompany them.
After their first show, an adaptation of A Straw Hat from Italy, played twice at the Avignon Festival (in
2016 at the Théâtre des Bélier and in 2017 at the Coin de la Lune) and on tour, the company has been offering since 2022 a
new show: The Secret of the Shadows. A contemporary writing by Grégory Bellanger which met with
great success during the last Avignon festival at the Présence Pasteur theatre. This piece is already on tour on several
dates and returns to the next Avignon festival. A new piece, by the same author, is being created by the
company.
Job Description
In connection with the artistic manager, the person will be in charge of the administration of the company including the
search for financing, the internal and external coordination of productions, the development of the
partnership network.
She/he will have the following missions:
• the reflection on the overall development and the strategy of the artistic projects of the company
• the accompaniment of the artistic manager on the development of the project and its partners: search for
privileged partners, search for public funding and private sector, grant application files
• monitoring the relationship with institutions and professionals in the sector
For each creation:
• participation in the structuring of the project with the artistic manager (schedule, needs, etc.)
• the development of the production strategy and the search for partners (contact, organization and follow-up of
meetings, etc. ) )
• participation in the construction of the production budget
• design, production and updating of creation files and coordination of communication tools
(posters, photos) related to creation projects
• research and monitoring of funding (subsidies , calls for projects, sponsorship)
• negotiation of contributions for co-productions/residencies/pre-purchases
• the organization of interactions and collaboration between different partners: artistic and technical team,
partners, communities, service providers...
• the organization and logistical management of residences (reception area, transport, accommodation, meals, etc. .)
Description of the profile sought
• Higher education in the cultural field or experience in a similar position desired
• Mastery of the legal, social, fiscal and institutional frameworks of live performance
• Real interest in theatrical creation
• Good knowledge of professional production and distribution networks
• Ability to defend the artistic project both orally and in writing
• Ability to coordinate artistic and technical teams
