Description:SummaryJoin the Middlebury College Theatre Department as Production Designer and Dogteam Theatre Project Company & Budget Manager! Responsibilities of the Production Designer and Company and Budget Manager fall under two pillars: Serving as (1) Resident Scenic, Lighting & Digital Media Designer for an average of four Theatre productions per year on the Middlebury campus; and (2) Company & Budget Manager for the Dogteam Theatre Project. During the school year, designs by the resident designers are executed by department’s technical staff under the designer’s supervision. The Production Designers collaborate in planning and building productions, provides student instruction and mentorship, and collaborates with theatre faculty and staff to achieve departmental mission and goals. In early summer, The Dogteam Theatre Project provides an active bridge for students of the College to the professional community of theatre makers. The Company & Budget Manager provides training and oversight and is responsible for transfer and execution of designs and technical elements to the NYC theatre space.
