Job Description

RJG Productions Limited is a small London based producing, general management and accountancy firm run by Rebecca Gwyther.

Current projects span across Off-West-End spaces (Park Theatre, Riverside Studios, Southwark Playhouse), Edinburgh Festival Fringe and development work.

The Production Assistant will be engaged on all aspects of staging a show, from development through to the final production. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail and an ability to work efficiently and reliably. An interest in theatre and enthusiasm for new work is a must!

Hours: Part-time, 2-3 days per week until September 2025. Potential to move to full-time from May / June 2025

Salary: Day rate (8 hours) of £100 - £120 per day dependent on experience

Start date: Flexible in March/April 2025

Job Requirements
Essential skills:

Proven production / administrative experience
Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills
Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, GoogleDocs)
Job Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager / Producer on all matters;
Research and organise travel arrangements for international creatives and producers;
Respond to general enquires;
Assist with AV checks;
Create and maintain contact sheets / logs for productions;
Book rehearsal rooms and workshop spaces;
Organise day-to-day meetings;
Assist in the drafting and filing of contracts for cast and creative teams;
Produce and distribute schedules and welcome packs;
Help with programme drafting and creation; and
Assist in the running of press nights and other events.
