Bucks County Playhouse has engaged Shruti Adhar from Management Consultants for the Arts to facilitate this search with a Board-led Search Committee. The hiring decision is expected to be made in Q1 of 2026 with the new Producing Artistic Director onsite in New Hope by June 2026, potentially with some transition work in advance. Organizational Profile Located on the picturesque site of a former mill along the banks of the Delaware River, Bucks County Playhouse is in the heart of New Hope, Pennsylvania, about an hour from New York City and Philadelphia. The structure was originally built in 1790 when owner Benjamin Parry rebuilt the Hope Mills, which had recently burned down; the newly christened New Hope Mills inspired the village to change its name to New Hope.
