The Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ERSO) is the leading symphony orchestra in Estonia, known for its vivid and versatile performances of traditional and contemporary symphonic music. We have a regular schedule of weekly concerts, performing with renowned conductors and soloists globally, and cooperating with acclaimed record companies. Customarily, we undertake 1-2 international tours yearly, plus multiple concerts across Estonia. ERSO musicians are encouraged to suggest and participate in chamber music programmes each season with fellow orchestra members and guest soloists. ERSO announces an audition for a PRINCIPAL FLUTE (substitute) (half-time temporary position, for season 2026/2027, starting August 2026, monthly remuneration 1267€ gross or 1685€ if social tax is not withheld). The audition will consist of two rounds: a video round and a stage round. An orchestral round may be added at the panel's discretion.

The video recording must be filmed with one camera, in one take, with the player facing the camera so that both hands and the instrument are fully visible throughout.
