Then this double open call is an ideal opportunity to pitch your work to professionals.Theatre by the Sea From 30 July to 9 August, Ostend will once again be the place to be for the broad performing arts, with the most impressive stage performances and emerging music, theatre and circus talent. With the support of the Department of Culture, Youth and Media, Circuscentrum will be organising a pitch session in the tent of Circus Ronaldo on 4 August from 11am , where artists can present their project. Theatre on the Market From October 24 to October 28, Dommelhof in Pelt is the hotspot for circus during Theater op de Markt. On October 25 at 10:30, Circuscentrum organizes a pitch moment where artists can present their project. Are you a maker with Flanders as your main base and with plans to make a circus performance? Apply! MORE INFO Deadline for submission : June 16, 2025 Selection procedure The places are limited to ten pitches per festival. It is possible to register for one or both pitch moments. The focus of both pitch moments differs. A selection committee will be set up that will select the candidates for Theater aan Zee and Theater op de Markt. Circuscentrum is the organizing party, the committee decides on the applications. General eligibility criteria The company has an administrative office and/or base in Flanders or Brussels capital and has a demonstrable network in Flanders or Brussels capital. At least one person from the company may be present at the pitch session for which it is selected. The submitted project is in creation or recently premiered. Selection criteria Theatre by the Sea The extent to which the work seeks connections with other art disciplines and/or has the potential to build bridges with the broader arts sector.
