Performing Arts Technician
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent
Role: Part-Time 25 hours per week
Location: Watford WD3
Salary: Pro-rata £25,183 to £26,409 plus £1,013 fringe allowance

We are working with an "Outstanding " 11-18 co-educational academy who are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Performing Arts Technician. Your Role
You will be at the heart of the Performing Arts department, with a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality drama, music, and dance lessons, as well as school productions and events. You will provide technical assistance in lighting, sound, and stage management, ensuring that students and staff have the resources and support they need. Responsibilities as a Performing Arts Technician will include:
Familiarisation with A&H SQ 7 console and ZerOS for lighting and sound
An understanding of DMX and Qlab
Provide lighting and sound design, other technical support
Setup and operation of lighting, sound, and projection for performances
Film, edit, and archive student work for moderation and assessment purposes
