Hi Chicago-land!

We are looking for POC performers for our open-air and socially-distant variety show, La Varieté. Our upcoming shows will be held on Saturday, August 22nd and Saturday, September 19th in Humboldt Park. We are producing this with the support of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center and UrbanTheater Company.

This is a PAID performance opportunity with all profit going to the artists. Our trial show went incredibly well, and we're proud to have kept our audience and artists safe. Reach out to us if you have any questions and/or concerns about health and safety.

We are looking for mainly physical acts (clown, dance, physical theatre, acrobatics, circus, aerial) and have an aerial structure available for rigging. But we are open to all performative art forms.

The submission form is below! (We are also looking to build a database of potential performers, so if you're unavailable now but wish to be a part of this later, you can fill the form, too!) Also, videos of your work are recommended (in any quality) but photos are also accepted.
