FoodPlay Productions is a national award-winning nutrition theater company that brings shows to schools and community events. Performer needed for one-person show, ToBe Fit, The Juggling Nutrition Magician Show, which is presented at elementary schools throughout the US, mostly in the Northeast. Best if you are based in the Northeast US and have a somewhat flexible schedule for some 1-5 day performances throughout the year, but we book according to your scheduling needs. We're looking for a highly responsible person who is a good role model for children, interested in healthy eating and active living, a captivating performer who can perform a 45 minute scripted show, and loves performing for children. Typical scheduling is occasional one-day gigs, sometimes one week mini-tours, but we schedule according to your needs. You will be your own stage manager in charge of props, set-up and travel. You have basic juggling and acting skills; but we can also train you. We cover all expenses, travel, and salary per gig.
