Eos Dance, a thriving dance education provider in London, is expanding its team and seeking passionate and experienced dance educators. We are looking for dedicated teachers specializing in Early Years Ballet (non-syllabus), Tap, Street Dance, and Contemporary styles to join our vibrant community, delivering engaging classes to young learners across various age groups. This ongoing opportunity offers flexible teaching slots ranging from 1.5 to 5 hours per day, tailored to your expertise and availability. Openings are available for weekday after-school sessions (Monday to Friday), as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings. Additional weekday morning slots may also be available. The start date is immediate, though we are open to discussion based on your circumstances. Remuneration is competitive, offering up to £25 per hour, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Candidates should be prepared for a minimum one-year renewable contract, committing to an academic year. Please note, this role is not suitable for individuals who are actively performing professionally or anticipate extended periods of absence. Essential requirements include holding current DBS, Public Liability Insurance (PLI), and a First Aid Certificate, or a firm commitment to obtain these immediately upon offer. Significant prior experience teaching very young children is crucial: specifically, age 2 for ballet and age 4+ for street/tap disciplines. We also encourage applications from trainees who are eager to learn and grow, with a view towards securing a permanent position. To apply, please submit your teaching CV and a comprehensive covering letter. Your covering letter must explicitly address each of the following questions to ensure your application is considered:
* Please detail your teaching experience for each discipline you offer, specifying the relevant age groups (e.g., Street Dance, ages 6-18).
* Do you currently hold a DBS, PLI, and First Aid Certificate, or are you prepared to obtain all of these immediately?
