RiverArts, an organization that promotes creativity in communities along the Hudson River, is seeking a part-time (25 hours/week) Artistic Director (“AD”) to join the storied 57 year-old organization and partner with the Managing Director in advancing the organization’s artistic and community-building goals. Its current programming includes an after-school music program, annual dance concert, a free Studio Art tour, a free Music Tour, artist conversations, summer camps and a chamber music concert series. The organization recently commissioned a new play that was performed on Zoom.

RiverArts’ AD provides the inspiration and creative energy that fuels our artists and volunteers. The AD will be the driver of innovation by creating new opportunities for artistic expression as well as being a conduit for the ideas of our growing community. RiverArts seeks to expand that community by hiring an AD with the desire, ideas and resources to realize a slate of diverse, equitable, and inclusive programming.
