Calling all female identifying actors based in or around the Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire area.
I am currently casting the part of Sleeping Beauty for our touring pantomime this Christmas.
This is a paid role which includes travel and accommodation when needed. We will travel together for longer journeys. Pay per show varies depending on the booking. Please message me for more info on this.
The show willl be performed in small theatres, community centre, big social clubs, Schools and large retirement villages (not care homes).
There are two versions of the show. A full length X2 45 mins and a 1hour School edition. You would need to know both versions. Same script just shorter for schools etc.
I am looking for a singing, female identifying actor with dance ability. Ideally a size 8-12 to fit existing costumes and someone who can learn lines, songs, choreography and direction quickly. Playing age between 18 - 25
Must have good availability both during the week and at weekends specially December. Happy to stay over night in a hotel and share a room with another female actor when needed for performances further away. You will also be expected to help with the get in and get out too. Must be able to drive and have a car to travel to and from local performances and rehearsals. Rehearsal dates to be confirmed.
Please note: We also produce other touring shows including theatre tours, so there may be other opportunities within the company for the right person.
