Description:

A dance network in Lower Saxony offers four paid two-week choreographic residencies in February and March 2027 in Hannover and Braunschweig, each for up to four artists. It is aimed at freelance dance professionals whose work has a connection to Lower Saxony. There are no conceptual requirements, and different dance styles and interdisciplinary teams are welcome.

Each artist receives a gross fee of €1,500 for the two weeks plus up to €150 in travel costs, and a professionally equipped studio for open-ended research and material development. The periods are 22 February to 7 March and 8 to 21 March 2027, and each residency ends with a moderated work-in-progress showing.
