P&O Cruises are recruiting within Entertainment Department for an Outdoor Activity Instructor to be based on one of our fantastic fleet of vessels.

The Outdoor Activity Instructor will be responsible for delivering a seamless, enjoyable experience for our guests enjoying the ropes and mini golf section of the ship.

What's a typical day for an Activity Instructor onboard?

Life on board involves working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week for the 4 - 6 months that you are onboard.
Your ten hours will be split between morning, afternoon, and evening activities.
You might choose to start the day in our Crew exclusive Gym before getting your breakfast
You will then check in with your Outdoor Activity Manager and discuss the day’s activities and ensure all safety checks are conducted and briefed to be highly organised and structured for the day
You will get to see firsthand the customers joy and satisfaction as they experience their activities and ensure that any customers whose expectations are not met will be looked after by you personally
Before the shift ends you will have de-briefed and audited the day and plan and organise the next day
Finally, you might finish your shift and go for a drink in the Crew Bar with some of your colleagues before enjoying bedding down in your clean and fully serviced cabin.
